In this workshop, we will take you on a journey from your present state to calm and clear. We will access the body made of sound through mantra, meditation, a gong bath, and deep inner listening.
In Ayurveda, the medicine of ancient India, mantras are used to restore mental well-being by addressing imbalances in the doshas or energies within the body. By focusing on specific Sanskrit sounds, the mantras help balance mental agitation, reduce stress, and promote emotional well-being.
Next, you’ll be immersed in the healing vibrations of a gong bath, allowing the resonant tones to guide you into a deeply relaxed state of deep inner listening. The vibration of the gongs and mantras can loosen the layers of stress and heal the nervous system.
We will spend time in meditation, gentle movement, and journaling for the second half of the workshop. This will help us access the deep creativity, wisdom, and desires we have been hiding below our roles, obligations, and daily busyness. Let’s start 2025 with clarity, peace, and the ability to deeply listen to ourselves and others.
